The first one-person show from transdisciplinary artist, writer, poet, and ceremonialist Riordan Regan will debut to a private audience at The Cockpit Theatre in London December 4.

An animated short co-directed by UMBC’s Robin Corbet, senior research scientist in the Center for Space Sciences and Technology, and Laurence Arcadias, an animation professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, will screen at the Iron Mule Film Festival—a short comedy film fest—in New York City on October 7. Corbet and Arcadias will attend the screening and take questions from the audience about science, art, and how they can complement each other.

Dr. Rachel Epp Buller (Transart MFA 2018) was the keynote speaker at the “Attuning to Climate: Listening, Walking, Acting” symposium in Edmonton, Alberta, October 16-18, 2024.

From January 21st to 28th, Transart Institute landed in Nairobi, Kenya for a vibrant week-long residency at Untethered Magic in Ongata Rongai. 🇰🇪 It was an exciting week of talks, workshops, gatherings, city exploration and dinners.

On 18 September 2023. Yvette Chaparro presented at Universidad de Monterrey, Mexico (UDEM) as part of their XIII Feria Internacional. The invited country for 2023 is the USA.

Anne Labovitz will present her latest solo show “Luminosity” on November 17th at the Athenaeum in La Jolla, California. Inspired by the idea of luminosity and how light can offer an emotive quality, the exhibition will include installation, artist’s books, and sculpture.
